Google Adwords had a feature of Ad scheduling which allows you to schedule when you want your sponsored ads to show up on Google and/or Google’s content network and when you want them to not show up (be temporarily paused). In addition, more advanced users can automatically modify their bids based on time-of-day and day-of-week cycles to improve campaign performance.
Usually your ad campaigns targets an audience that would only really be searching for your ads during normal business hours then it makes sense for you to have the ads turned off during the weekends or even during the very late evening hours.
On the other hands, online business shopping for eCommerce tend to occur during the weekends or late night, so it would thus not make sense to turn their ads off on the weekends or late evening hours. Thus the decision to use ad scheduling should be done on a case by case basis.
In addition, some of the click fraud audits that we have done seem to show a lot of the click fraud occurs during the 12:00 midnight to 5:00 am times so it also makes sense for some of our clients to have their ads off during these periods.
How to set up ad scheduling on Google Adwords?
Step1: To use this new feature you log onto your Adwords account and then you can enable it via the Edit Campaign Settings page.
Step2: Scroll down the page and in the lower left portion of the page is a section called “Advanced Options”. Click on the link called “Ad scheduling” to enable the ad scheduling feature. Please make sure that “Manual bidding for clicks” under “bidding and budget” section is selected. If “Automatic bidding to try to maximize clicks for your target budget” is selected, the link of “Ad scheduling” doesn’t show up.
Step3: Click on “Edit” for the days of the week you want to schedule your ad to show or not show. You will be allowed to select any block of time to turn off your ad and you can even select the quick link for weekends to turn off the ad for the entire weekend. The combinations of scheduling are endless and you choose certain days and/or hours of the day to turn off your ads.

Including city names in your contact page title tag seems to have impact on Google Maps ranking. The title tag is as almost as critical for local rankings as it is for web search rankings. Therefore, including city names in contact title tags helps in Google Maps SEO. Including city names in all website pages will help more, though.

Including city names in all website title tags seems to have impact on Google Maps ranking. The title tag is as almost as critical for local rankings as it is for web search rankings. Therefore, including city names in all or most website title tags helps in Google Maps SEO. Of course, including multiple city names in all title tags works only in non-competitive market. If it’s a competitive market, I recommend you to include one only city name that your physical location belongs to. This is a good way to target geo-based keyword such as “DUI attorney [city name] [state name]“.

Searchers can choose to sort the results they see by ratings, so it definitely has an impact on how often your listing is seen. They say that Google engineers deny giving ranking weight to ratings values. If Google Maps users see a positively-rated business, they may click through at a much higher rate than lower-rated businesses. Google could be giving ranking weight according to Click Through Rate (CTR) of Google Maps listings – in which case Ratings could indeed have an indirect yet significant impact upon Google Maps rankings. In conclusion, positive ratings on Google Maps reviews have some impact on your Google Maps Rankings.
